Josef Sinigiani is a third year Political Science major focusing on international law and African Geopolitics, specifically human rights, criminal law, and property rights. Josef has previously served as the Under Secretary General of the General Assemblies at BruinMUN. His plans after school involve going to law school and practicing international criminal prosecutorial human rights law. Outside of MUN Josef has served as the president of the United Nations Association here at UCLA as well as contributed as a staff writer for UCLA’s foreign affairs magazine. Outside of school in general, Josef enjoys traveling, cooking, and trying new things.

Anton is a fourth-year History major with minors in Global Studies, American Indian Studies, and Public Affairs from Redondo Beach, California. This is his seventh year in Model UN, having joined in his sophomore year of high school. He previously served as the Director of External Relations and the Undersecretary-General for ECOSPEC the year prior. After he finally ends his time in Model UN, he plans to go to law school and be involved in constitutional law. Outside of participating in, competing in, and talking about Model UN, he writes for the Undergraduate Law Journal, plays many card games, and watches motorsport.
USG - Crisis

Andre is a third-year Political science and Economics major with a minor in Arabic from San Rafael, CA. He joined Model UN his freshman year of college, and has never looked back. Since his first year in UCLA MUN he has gained experience as a Crisis Director for both BruinMUN and LAMUN, as well as competing in several conferences as a delegate. Starting MUN in college gave him a unique perspective on the circuit, bringing fresh ideas into his role as the co-crisis USG. Outside of the MUN circus, Andre writes for a student led magazine at UCLA, enjoys photography, movies, Formula 1, and spends time on public transit exploring all that the city of LA has to offer. After UCLA, Andre hopes to continue his studies somewhere in the field of urbanism in developing countries.

Samantha is a third-year Political Science and Geography and Environmental Studies double major. While she cherishes her time in LA, her favorite city is her hometown, Las Vegas. She joined MUN during her 1st year of college after debating for 7 years on the local and national circuit. During her time with MUN at UCLA, she has chaired General Assembly and Crisis committees at BruinMUN and LAMUN, and has actively participated in conferences as a member of the travel team. Beyond MUN, Sam is a member of UCLA’s rock climbing team, and she loves listening to live music, taking her Labrador Lily on car rides, and going to the beach. After graduating, Sam hopes to be a policy analyst or go into environmental law.

Valerie is a second-year Economics and Political Science double major from Oakland, California. She started MUN in college after four years of Speech & Debate, staffing and competing for various MUN conferences throughout her time at UCLA. More so than public speaking, Valerie has extensive art experience. She’s had paintings in local and national showcases, focusing on unorthodox representations of Southeast Asian Buddhism. Additionally, she’s dabbled in sewing, knitting, crochet, textile arts, linoleum printing, hairdressing, jewelry-making, graphic design, and most recently, photography. If she’s not poorly-cutting or dying her hair in the dorm bathrooms, she's scouring Pinterest for sewing inspo and now, making graphics for MUN! She is so excited to serve as Director of Marketing and is even more excited to be working with such amazing people!
USG - Crisis

Leia is a third-year Computational Biology and Statistics double major from the wonderful New Jersey. This is her third year in Model UN, joined after a good go at high school Model Congress. As a lover of destroying traditional Rules of Procedure, she has recently chaired the United States Senate at BruinMUN 33. Additionally, she has backroom staffed both high school and college conferences, as well as rounding out a trifecta of senior staffing a GA, Spec, and Crisis committee. Outside of MUN, Leia can be found running a theater company on campus (shout out Out of the Blue), baking a cake, or struggling through analytic coding for her research project. Following UCLA, Leia hopes to obtain a PhD in bioinformatics, only after a prospective gap year in Antarctica conducting penguin research.

Khushi is a sophomore at UCLA and is a Physiological Science major with a minor in Global Health. This will be her 8th year in MUN, after competing on the SoCal circuit and joining MUN at UCLA her freshman year. Before becoming External Director, Khushi has staffed multiple committees such as BruinMUN’s UNPBC committee, and competes on the UCLA MUN travel team. Outside of MUN she volunteers as a part of Project Rishi at UCLA, plays Water Polo, and works as an EMT. In her free time Khushi enjoys overbuying at Barnes and Nobles, trying new coffee shops (Hojicha>Matcha), ranking Acai spots (she has strong opinions about the spots on campus), listening to music, and baking.

Rohan is a fourth-year Physiological Science major who is also on the pre-med track. Coming from the Los Angeles area, he first joined Model UN in 9th grade, where he debated for the first time. Through his past 7 years in Model UN, Rohan has served as a delegate, Crisis Director, Director of Office of Public Relations (OPI), and a chair. Along with debating on the Southern California HS circuit, he has also traveled to conferences in Montreal (SSUNS) and New York (NHSMUN). Rohan will be standing as the Director of Technology. Outside of Model UN, Rohan loves paying attention to and playing any and all sports, is an avid twitter microinfluencer, and loves listening to music (Frank Ocean). As a pre-med student, Rohan eventually hopes to become an Orthopedic Surgeon with a focus in sports medicine.

Carly is a third-year Global Studies major and Spanish minor from Calabasas, CA. She joined MUN her freshman year of high school, and loves it more than ever 7 years in. Since joining UCLA MUN, she has been able to attend various travel conferences, and now is ecstatic to serve as this year's LAMUN USG of GA/Spec. Beyond MUN, Carly loves playing tennis, skiing, listening to music, going to the beach, trying overpriced restaurants and coffeeshops, as well as spending unhealthy amounts of time on her phone. After UCLA, Carly intends on going to law school to practice international law or go into global governance.

Josephine is a second-year student double majoring in Global Studies and Political Science with a minor in European Languages and Transcultural Studies. She is from Long Beach, California, and in her sixth year in MUN, she is excited to serve as the Director General for the UCLA high school and college conferences. Josephine has served as a staffer for BruinMUN and LAMUN, and competes on the travel team. She is also a violist in the UCLA Symphony. You can find her in the music rooms practicing piano, playing volleyball and card games, or searching for new cafes and study spots. After college, Josephine plans to attend graduate school and pursue a career in diplomacy, with a potential focus on refugees and forced migration.
